In Buffalo, we got to drive through Millionaire’s row, which is a couple of blocks of beautiful big mansions from days past. They just don’t build houses like that anymore. Even the “regular” houses built there around the same time look pretty majestic to me. So that was cool (although as I was snapping pictures, Randy is laughing at me looking like a tourist as we drive through it.) Since it was pretty cold, we weren't doing one of the walking tours. Grand homes from times past. Many have been turned into businesses instead of private homes.
And sometimes the lot beside the grand home is now an apartment building. The ambiance is just not quite the same...
